Er... just curious... cos my Singaporean colleague, that uncle, alwiz use this phrase when he wants to define location/places.
For example...
"Down here in Italy, ppl is like that one lah" but at the same time...
"Down there in Singapore, ppl is like that one lah"...
Well, my geo is not that good, but as far as i know, Italy should be Up and singapore should be Down rite? But this is not the question, i just wanna know if the phrase is properly used or it is just another Singaporean fav phrase?
Those who know the answer please let me know, so that i can correct him. Its very annoying, no, not only because of this phrase, but words out from his mouth are bored and annoying...
Especially when he alwiz starts to discuss politics with me during long journey to customer place. I really "bo chap" about politics, but some how story from his side is alwiz my country is not good... Singapore is this good and that good... Malaysia should learn from this and that country for how to manage... Why Malaysia never learn, its been 51 years of independent... Sigh!!!
So, down here, i really bored when travel with him. Dont know how his friends/children able to stand him down there back in singapore. Sigh!
