it looks like a hair saloon...

due to the loneliness... after office hour today, i went out for a walk, yeah, kinda dragging my ass off this couch and out of this apartment... now i am just like  Princeton of Avenue Q Broadcast in one of their songs title " There is life outside your apartment"... sigh!

so, i guess i give it a shot... was walking to the most happening place in SheKou, The WaterWorld. Whats there? a big cruise ship under renovation and the place looks like Bintang walk, where cafes, bars and clubs. Was having a cup of Iced Mocha at Starbucks. I ordered a Iced Blended Mocha, but that cashier got me wrong... maybe due the my language...

so, whats interesting is not the Most happening place here... its the "saloon" along the way. These shops, that look like a Hair Saloon where it is full with girls dress in sexy and seducing dress... i got curious and... no no no... not what you guys have in mind now... i decided to ask my colleagues the next day.

According to them, these "saloon" provide some special services like... yeah, now what you guys are thinking come in the picture... hahahaha.

Special services are... Special Massages, Special Spa, Special Foot Massage, Special Special and all kind of special that you guys are thinking is available there. And the price is affordable... hahaha RMB130 only. But if you guys who come to SheKou and want to get these services, please be advised that you need to bring one local with you, otherwise the you will have bloody neck after visit this shop as the price can go double or tripple.

So, thats all i learn and see the life outside my apartment in Shekou apart from the food and some other nice things... afterall, SheKou is a nice place to stay if you are not alone like me...

cheers! i gotta drag my ass out again to get the phone card reloaded... see ya!

outside the apartment

was thinking that i can go back to the apartment earlier... but was stopped by the boss... "shim san, shall we wait for so and so for dinner tonite at 8pm"... hmmm... do i have a choice? this so and so is on the way back to office from HongKong... hope he can make it on time... am hungry!

so, sitting here in the office, thinking about what to do before the dinner. so here i am, updating my blog...

what to say today? hmm, ok, i promised that i will show my gf about the condition in SheKou like how is it looks like and all... so, i took a couple of photos outside the apartment...

Pb190204 on the right hand side... there is this hotel and some low cost apartment which is the place to stay for most the workers who work in that hotel and restaurant in the hotel. The restaurant serve very nice dimsum. A treat from the boss on the first nite i arrived. Its like a welcome and farewell dinner for my colleague who have supportted here for more than 1 1/5 months. Its a take over period for me.

Pb190206

here is the front view of outside my apartment, nothing much to describe as it is just a continue block from the previous one. But every morning, i noticed there is a girl on top of this building practising yoga and do some light exercise. Pretty or not i dont know cos its quite far away.

Pb190203 This is the left side of the view where the apartment here looks like the one i am staying in. just that it is at the lower rise building. It has one living room, one bedroom, one kitchen, one bathroom and one balcony. The cost i heard is roughly about RMB 250K and above. Well, in Malaysia you can get a 3 rooms 2 bathrooms apartment. In this apartment shown in the photo, at nite i also see one of the room without curtain, there is a couple living in but most of the time only the husband is in his underwear, the wife never see in such condition before... hahahaha. i am not peeping, i was just enjoying the nite city view when i accidentally saw this.

Pb190207 The right hand side you can see that the see is actually at the further part between the two furthest building. Yeah, SheKou is a port... so, this is the view outside my apartment... later i will update it with the nite view and hopefully with the couple doing the right thing at the right time... hahahahaha

dinner experience... f*ck...

hmm... couple of days has gone by and its kinda boring in ShenZhen... maybe i don't go out for nite spots and other place which others would say "heaven for men"... didn't plan to go to these place though...

so... what is so f*cked out about my dinner experience here last nite? disgusting...

i was walking around and decided to try out this restaurant... nothing special about this restaurant but other places was crowded as it was Sunday. Was sitting alone and after strugelling with my broken mandarin to get what i want to eat... i finally ordered a plate of spagetti ShenZhen style and a cup of hot mocha.

before my food was served... there is this chinese man walked in and decided to sit at the same table with me cos by that time, this place was crowded as well. its ok for me as i was sitting there alone too.

later that i found out that he has flu and sneezing. its ok, nvm... i waited for my food to be served and look outside the windows... of course, there are pretty girls walking by from time to time... wash eyes la... hehehehe

ok, dinner is served and it was nothing to talk about the food as its just a spagetti. was eating my spagetti and this is when the f*cking chinese man makes me loose my appetite.... what did he do?

as mentioned earlier, he has flu and sneezing... damned... just when i was enjoying my so so spagetti, he takes out his tissue paper... sneeze the damned thing out his f*king nose... i mean like SNEEZEEeeEEeee it out slowly and steadily, targeting the landing pad which is the tissue paper that he is holding at about his mouth level... watching that damned nasal mucus (clear and sticky liquid) slowly making its way to the landing pad...yeah, the f*cking tissue... shit... argh!!! eeEEeeeEee... yuckssSSsss... where the hell is table manace? can't he see i was eating. some more he did it not once... blardy few times... sigh!!!!

so, didnt finish my dinner... and  i just want to finish my mocha, ya know, its hard to get "Cham Si Ping" (Coffee + Milk Tea or Yin Yang in HongKong) here in ShenZhen and coffee is not cheap here too... but the mocha was not served with milk... and so i ask for milk from the waitress... she looks so shock! watching with some kind of look... i was thinking "WHAT? coffee cannot add milk is it?"... so, while she was at the counter i heard she was talking to other about the milk thing... "weirdo, why he need milk in his coffee?" Sigh!!! whats wrong with milk in my coffee? cannot is it?

So, from this experience... i add some of my point of views

1. Some Chinese man like to "kraakkkkk Tuhhhh" on the street, i mean where ever they find it convinient... if you know what i mean.

2. Some Chinese man like to Watch the nasal mucus flowing down their nose and fine it amusing and its even better to do it in the dining table for better amusing result. (to pissed off others)

3. Some Chinese find it weird to add milk in coffee as it makes the coffee looks brown and its not coffee anymore as coffee to them is black... hahahahahaha

Hmm... after all, its a new thing i see everyday in this extensive trip to Shekou, ShenZhen...

First Impression on "Snake Mouth" (SheKou, ShenZhen, China)

well... its my first trip to China and out of the places i go for my Service Support, this is the longest period i am assigned to. 37 days and counting down... gonna miss my life in Malaysia and of course, my darling... ;)

some details about my trip to this place, my flight was from KLIA to HKIA, yeah, to save cost i have to take the ferry from HKIA to SheKou Port. Didn't expect it was so convinient nowadays, i mean its convinient la, not that i have been here so many times, but what i heard is that last time, ppl have to take the train or the bus which is... troublesome.

Pb180193 << Clear sky, smooth flight, some delay at KLIA though. My luck in flying is that each time, there is a delay, worse was to Phillipines, 2.5 hours. The duration is 3 hours 40 minutes. Also, this time, the bread does not taste as good as those i eaten in the previous flights to other place... sigh!

Pb180198 << in the ferry to SheKou. Just like what i saw in the hongkong movies. The journey only takes 30 minutes. Didnt get to take a photo at the arrival port where all the luggage is kept in a container, and the employees lift the container (4 of them each at one corner) just like those we saw in the movies where a great HERO of America is KIA... well, like a funeral if you can't imagine. hahahaha... ;)

Pb180196 << SheKou Port, the whether is at nite 17 degC and day time 22degC and its getting colder each day. The air is a little bit polluted here.

When i reached SheKou Port, my colleague was waiting there for me. So, what i feel about the place? the first impression... Its looks like CHINA... hahahahaha. The people, the vehicles... exactly like those shown in Hong Kong dramas... hahahaha. Yeah, yeah, yeah... i know i am talking rubbish...

So, we went to take a taxi. Because the office is just 10minutes drive from the Port, this driver was so reluctant to take us there, but we are already in his cab. This is a shocking experience...

Taxi Driver: Where to?

My Colleague: SheKou Da Sia (Mandarin)

Taxi Driver: Where is that? (Pretending not knowing the place)

My Colleague: What do you mean "Where is that?" ( Already angry)

Taxi Driver: Yeah, WHERE IS THAT? ( Also angry and sacarstic)

My Colleague: SO, ARE YOU GOING OR NOT? ( Knowing this driver's trick to get us off, so he use the Who's Voice Louder trick) JUST GO, I SHOW YOU THE PLACE.

So, the taxi driver, reluctantly drive us to the SheKou Da Sia without my colleague direct him the way. I was thinking to myself... "Shit, are they going to fight?" hahahaha...

After the explaination from my colleague, in SheKou, the locals are like that. But also need to know the border line... ;) wondering whats the border line is? i also dont know, use your common sense.

Oklah... tired of typing already. Continue next day on others FIRST IMPRESSION...
